Sauk Prairie Healthcare and School District work together on careers in the medical field


In May 2025, representatives of Sauk Prairie School District and Sauk Prairie Healthcare gathered to announce their five-year Medical Careers Partnership. The Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) recently released its 2026 Workforce Report, revealing that while some progress has been made in stabilizing workforce shortages, vacancy rates remain high across the state’s hospitals, including Sauk Prairie Healthcare.

Sauk Prairie High School Show Choirs compete in Mississippi

On March 5-9 the Sauk Prairie High School show choirs traveled to Biloxi, MS to compete against a new set of show choirs. It was a great opportunity to see other shows, enjoy some warmer weather, and visit new sights. One highlight of the trip was spending a day in New Orleans, trying new cuisine and watching talented street musicians.

St. Luke School 4k students collect many donations


The 4K students at St. Luke School in Plain did an amazing job during their food drive during Catholic Schools Week. They worked hard and collected the most food donations in the whole school. Weston holds Craft Fair

The Spring Craft Fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 15 at the Weston School District Elementary School Gym.

The Class of 2026 will present this event, which will feature a wide variety of handmade goods.

Concessions will be sold throughout the event.

Admission is free.

Reedsburg Area High School’s show choir will put on the finale to its season.

The Choraliers troupe will present its Home Show at 7 p.m. March 13 and 14 and 2 p.m. March 15 at the CAL Center. Tickets cost $12 and can be purchased in advance at rahswi.booktix.com. They will also be sold at the door.

State legislators discuss school funding in Spring Green

State Rep. Karen DeSanto and State Sen. Sarah Keyeski, the area's local legislators, held a panel discussion on school funding on Thursday, Feb. 26, in Spring Green. Former public-school teacher, state representative, and author of a recent bill on funding, Joan Fitzgerald, joined them.

Sauk Prairie Show Choirs sweep Silverstage Invitational, Hartberg and Roberts pick up individual honors

All Sauk Prairie Show Choirs traveled to Monona Grove for the annual Silverstage Show Choir Invitational on Saturday, February 21, sweeping all three categories! Sauk Prairie Middle School’s River Sound placed 3rd Runner Up and Soaring Sound was awarded Grand Champions!
