The Farmer Angel Network has organized an outdoor movie night for area farm families.

It will be held June 17 at the Starlite 14 Drive-In Theater in Richland Center. The movie showing is “Spirit Untamed.”

June 6 is the free State Park Statewide Open House, where people can check out Wisconsin’s State Parks without a sticker.

Among the places that will be open is the Seth Peterson and Frank Lloyd Wright Cottage on Mirror Lake.

The Wisconsin Early Childhood Association will hold free workshops this summer.

The goal is educate both people who are new to the childcare sector and those who are experienced.

It was a brief May meeting for the Sauk County Board of Supervisors.

During its regular monthly gathering, board members unanimously voted for two measures to help beautify the county.

Wood ticks, aka dog ticks, attach to humans and other animals for varying lengths of time. Female ticks can become engorged, whereas males do not feed on humans for more than a day or two.

An event for elementary school students will be back this year, but it’s not entirely back to business as usual.
