Construction closes Highway 33

People who live or travel in Baraboo need to be prepared to slow down or take alternative routes.

As of Feb. 26, Highway 33 between Lincoln Avenue and Highway 136 is closed for construction. Closures are expected through mid-November.

A detour has been posted using Interstate 90/94 and Highway 12.

County Board approves drainage ditch in Spring Green

An area with frequent flooding problems could finally see some relief this year.

During this month’s Sauk County Board meeting, supervisors approved a Memorandum of Understanding to build a drainage ditch in the town of Spring Green. It also approved a recommendation to see grant funding for the endeavor.
