Letter: The real Donald Trump

When Trump ran for president in 2018 most folks only knew about him from ‘The Apprentice’, the TV program that portrayed him as a successful, multi-bllionaire businessman. Unless you were a reader of New York newspapers you had little reason to doubt his capability to run the country and you may have voted for him as a result.

Voters have spoken, Donald Trump is the President-elect. About a third of voters said their main reason for voting for Mr. Trump was they expect him to improve the economy. To know if that happens we must have a good idea of what the economy is doing today.
