Leaf pickup begins March 25

Reedsburg residents can expect to see public works crews out starting March 25.

Spring leaf cleanup will start on that date and continue through April 26.

Leaves should be left on the tree bank. Branches should be in a separate pile. Don’t put materials in the street or on the sidewalk.

Blood drive set at Community Center

A Reedsburg Community Blood Drive will be held March 25 at the Recreation Center.

Hours will be 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Rec Center is located in the basement of Reedsburg City Hall.

Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are also welcome.

Ambulance Department holds ribbon-cutting ceremony

Residents will have the chance to check out the new addition at the Reedsburg Ambulance Department.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 8:45 a.m. March 22 at 230 Railroad St. There is no charge to attend.

Historical Perspective: The ice man cometh

Orchestra presents concert

The School District of Reedsburg will host an orchestra concert next week.

The performance will start at 6 p.m. March 21 at the CAL Center.

There is no admission charge.

Reedsburg will have Community Market this year

The new pavilion at the former theater site in Reedsburg will host a special ongoing event later this year.

The City is working on the Community Market, which will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and 3 to 7 p.m. Thursdays from May 6 through Oct. 17. The pavilion is located at the corner of East Main Street and North Webb Avenue.

Reedsburg city administrator announces retirement

A Reedsburg official with decades of experience is stepping away.

On Monday night, City Administrator Tim Becker announced his retirement to Reedsburg Common Council. His last day will be June 14.
