Spring Green, Plain, and Lone Rock Library Notes
Spring Green
By Emily Whitmore, Library Director
I know the weather has been so unpredictable and strange, but actual spring must be right around the corner right?!? I planted a bunch of bulbs last year and can’t wait to see what I actually get. With hope in my heart, I thought this might be a good time to mention this program again: “Check Out Wisconsin State Parks at Your Library.”
Anytime this year that you want to, you can stop by the library to pick up a day pass for free admission for one vehicle at any state park, forest, or recreation area where admission is required.
You don’t have to use the pass on the day you pick it up, we will write the date you will actually use the pass on it. In order to get the pass, you do need to have a library card from a Wisconsin library and a car with a Wisconsin plate on it.
The library is open Monday through Thursdays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If you have questions about library services, we are here to help! Call us at (608) 588-2276 or email ewhitmore@springgreenlibrary.org. Ongoing library updates will be posted to our website (www.springgreenlibrary.org) and Facebook page. The Library is located at 230 E. Monroe Street.
