Patricia (Pat) A. Mueller
Patricia (Pat) A. Mueller, age 93, was called home to her heavenly Father on October 2, 2025 at Casa de Oakes Assisted Living Facility surrounded by her family.
Pat was born to Martin and Martha (Holak) Shields on August 12, 1932. She grew up on the family dairy farm in rural Cazenovia where she met her husband, Donald Mueller. They were married on October 7, 1950 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Germantown, WI.
Pat dedicated her life to her husband, family and Catholic faith. She doted over her 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Pat loved having a huge garden and took great pride in her farming roots. We all looked forward to holiday gatherings with grandma.
Pat also had a variety of jobs throughout the years which usually included food preparation. She worked for many years at the Sauk County Health Care Center as a cook and Ted’s and Fred’s grocery store of Reedsburg in the bakery department. She became very good friends with many of her co-workers.
For enjoyment Pat loved to bowl traveling to a variety of tournaments throughout the country with her bowling team. She also loved a good game of cards. Pat took great pride in her Irish heritage and always looked forward to celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a Guiness.
Pat is survived by her son, Kenneth of Elroy; daughters Sharon Mueller of Reedsburg, Christine (Wayne) MacArdy of Mauston, Laurie (Tim) Klemm of Reedsburg and Teresa Mueller of Franklin; daughter-in-law, Jenny Mueller of Baraboo; sister-in-law Bernadine Mueller of Richland Center; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; son, Thomas Mueller; great granddaughter, Kennedy Mueller; brother Harold Shields; sisters Beulah Rockweiler and Loretta Peterson.
