Reedsburg’s Sydney Cherney is WBCA All-State Girls Basketball player in 2022-2023


RAHS junior Sydney Cherney (#22) was named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-State Team for Division 2 for the second year in a row as recently announced. Cherney led the state in scoring at over 31 points per game this season for the Beavers and scored 822 points total this year while snaring 12 rebounds per game as well. Cherney was one of seven repeat selections on the All-State D-2 list. (Reedsburg Independent file photo)

It would be hard to imagine any player in Wisconsin High School girls basketball having a better season than the one that RAHS junior Sydney Cherney enjoyed in this just completed 2022-2023 season.
