Jane Biesterfeld is first baby of year at RAMC

The first baby of 2023 born at Reedsburg Area Medical Center is Jane Margaret Biesterfeld.
Jane was born at 3:57 a.m. Jan. 1 to Sydney and Micah Biesterfeld. She was eight pounds, seven ounces and measured 20.5 inches long. She is the first child for the couple.
In a statement, the Biesterfelds said, “We are excited to start the year of many blessings – on time delivery on the First, the first child, the first grandchild, and the first great grandchild, in addition to being Reedsburg’s first baby of 2023.”
As with all other first babies of the year, the family received numerous gifts from RAMC and other sponsors. These included Kay’s Jewelers, State Farm Insurance, Lands’ End, the RAMC Gift Shop, Resale Beyond the Expected Shop, Partners of RAMC, RAMC Massage Therapy Department and RAMC Birth Center.
