Traffic stop leads to drug-related arrests

A Nov. 22 traffic stop in Reedsburg yielded three subjects.

According to the Reedsburg Police Department, officers pulled over a vehicle for a suspended registration violation on North Grove Street near the intersection of Fourth Street at around 9:15 a.m. A vehicle search turned up marijuana, heroin, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

James J. Burdick, 34, of Sparta, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver narcotics (heroin), possession with intent to deliver meth, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing an officer and four counts of felony bail jumping, according to the Reedsburg Police Department. He also had warrants for his arrest from Monroe and Sauk counties.

Ian M. Lewis, 37, of Baraboo, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation hold. He was also cited for operating while revoked and operating with a suspended registration, according to the Reedsburg Police Department.

Amanda N. Rotar, 29, of Baraboo, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation hold, according to the Reedsburg Police Department.
