Fermentation Fest has new format this weekend

Fermentation Fest: Grassland Edition will be held Sept. 25-26 at Witwen Park and Campground near Sauk City.

The event is organized by Wormfarm Institute in Reedsburg.

Fermentation Fest normally features classes and speakers at various locations around Reedsburg. However, last year it moved closer to the Sauk City and Prairie du Sac areas. This year’s festival will include fermentation demonstrations, tastings, live music, art performances and cow calling.

Visit fermentationfest.com for a complete daily schedule. Note that musical acts carry their own charge, or you can purchase a day pass for $12 per day. Tickets can also be purchased on the website.

There is no charge to browse vendor stands or see standing art displays.

There will be no Farm/Art DTour this year, as that event was held last fall and the tour is a biennial feature. Thus, it will return in 2022.
