An unidentified passenger died in a July 3 crash in the town of Delton.
Just before 2:20 a.m., the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Highway T east of Highway A. As the deputy approached the vehicle on foot, the driver sped off, going east on Highway T, according to the Sheriff’s Office report.
